John... having graduated hairdressing school in November of 1976, has been at the salon since December 1976 and became owner in October 1997. As well as basic hairdressing school he has attended more advanced classes at sassoon, paul mitchell, jingles, wella, clairol and redken, just to name a few. Cutting and coloring are his favorite but enjoys all aspects of the business. He also loves meeting new clients and seeing the smiles on their faces when he is done giving them a new look. Also the salon is named after his grandson Michael Robert.

Gary Renza, always the consummate professional. Gary has been at the salon for 25 plus years.

Gary specializes in cutting and color, especially foiling. On a personal note Gary has a black belt in kung-fu and also operates a kung-fu/tai chi school.

Cindy Besharat, previous owner of Putnam Beauty Supply, has been an entrusted member of the Michael Robert team for 3 years. She is a certified Great Lengths Extensionist. She welcomes bridal updo's and make up applications. Her experience and expertise is in color, cutting and is well versed in straightening techniques. Her clients look forward to seeing her bright smile and every time they come in they know they are in talented hands.

Jennifer has over 14 years experience in the industry. She specializes in all phases of Hair Color including Color Correction. Jennifer was trained by a Vidal Sassoon Master Stylist and follows the philosophy – Precision Cut and Color that reflects effortless beauty. She has been an educator in the salon for over 6 years and continues to attend on going education classes at the Wella Studio in Manhattan.

Alwyn DiGregorio has 20 years experience. She is a published hair stylist that has done photo shoots in Manhattan, Rhode Island, Virginia and Long Island. She has styled hair for a Voss Water commercial, Gizmachi music video and former stylist to rockband Fastball. She has a lot of bridal hair experience and has done Bridal Expos at Thayer Hotel and Ceola Manor. She is well versed in all phases of color and highlighting techniques and really enjoys total hair makeovers.She is experienced in Brazilian Keratin Straightening, Relaxers, Perms and Extensions. She has taken numerous color and cutting classes with big names such as Nick Arrojo and Beth Minardi and looks forward to having her clients love their hair!

The hair industry has been Christine J.'s passion since she can remember. She studied at Northern Westchester School of Hairdressing & Cosmetology in Peekskill, NY. Christine strongly believes in continuing her education to always remain fresh and current. She provides a personal consultation at every visit, as lifestyles are ever-changing. She is excited to provide stellar results, whether it be for a blow dry, a smoothing treatment, color service, haircut, or an up-do for a special day.

Jen Orlando believes “Healthy hair is beautiful hair.” She strives to provide each one of her clients with a positive, personalized experience. Jen has been in the industry for nearly a decade and has been with Michael Robert Salon for over six years. She is continuously taking classes to keep up to date with the newest fashions. Jen enjoys all areas of hair color and cutting, she customizes her techniques to come up with styles individualized to her client's needs and wants. Whether you want fun and funky or subtle and sophisticated, Jen will make it happen!

I am a graduate of Yorktown High School and Putnam/Northern Westchester BOCES Cosmetology program. I received my New York State Cosmetology license in 2008 and have been a part of the “Michael Robert Salon & Spa Team” since 2008. I believe it is very important to keep up with the latest trends and newest looks. I do this by continuing my education. I feel very blessed to be in an environment where I feel encouraged to do my best and keep looking forward to the future. I truly love making my clients feel and look their very best.

Sabrina is an accomplished stylist with over 20 years of experience. Her work is published in Passion Magazine, which highlights her classic and imaginative talent. Sabrina had the honor of working with Nicholas French at the International Beauty Show. She worked on stage and trained with some of the best color experts in the industry. Sabrina's strengths and expertise include styling all hair textures. She is certified in and an educator for She So.cap Hair Extensions. Sabrina remains current with beauty trends by constantly continuing her education classes in the industry, and attending beauty shows.
